Hi all, when reviewing OP\_TLUV mailing list posts it became clear that 64bit arithmetic would be a subset of necessary changes to enable something like TLUV. I’ve heard from other protocol developers that 64bit arithmetic operations would be useful to their protocols as well.

Here is a live link to my BIP proposal: [64bit arithmetic op codes by Christewart · Pull Request #1538 · bitcoin/bips · GitHub](https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/pull/1538)

and the implementation:

>
> This PR adds 64 bit arithmetic op codes to the Script interpreter.
>
>
> This PR …corresponds with this BIP proposal: https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/pull/1538
>
> This work is heavily borrowed from the elements implementation of 64 bit op codes: https://github.com/ElementsProject/elements/pull/1020

I figured I would try posting here to see if there is any early feedback before sending to the mailing list. Apologies if this isn’t the right format for this venue.
