Thanks for trying bitcoin-rs and reporting #1567! We’ve fixed the header presync issue in #1571 and #1582. Could you try the latest main and let us know if it’s working now?
Regarding libbitcoinkernel, we initially planned to use it directly for consensus validation. However, once we started using AI, building an independent Rust implementation became much more practical, with more room for performance optimization and simpler cross-platform builds. We now prefer using libbitcoinkernel as a reference oracle for differential testing.
That said, libbitcoinkernel remains an important part of our project and continues to be invaluable in verifying our implementation. We really appreciate all your work on it. Thank you!
