I think that turns out remarkably similar to the chia environment lookups if you express them in binary: rather than writing 13, if you write 0b1101 then I think that’s the same as OIOH – ie, it’s kind of exactly reversed, so reads from right to left rather than left to right, O maps to 1, I maps to 0, and the most-significant 1 maps to H. Writing CLVM environment numbers in binary seems like it makes things much easier.
