I don’t see any benefits of using Cashu for mining payouts.
Auditability and small payouts are achieved with bolt12. LN privacy is debatable however use of Cashu to achieve privacy comes with the below trade-offs:
- Custodial
- Makes the mining pool vulnerable to regulatory actions or use of KYC/AML
