the 10% extra data can be avoided by not using low density parity check codes, peer limit is why my comments had been limited to more miner sharing, etc. so I think I addressed all those points except the big one: it’s addressing a thing which is not the limiting factor. And even without the bandwidth overhead computational overhead would slow it down. So I don’t disagree-- it’s why the idea hadn’t been pursued years ago.
