It should be pretty easy to adapt. It wasn’t really my focus because I specifically wanted to facilitate small value lightning onboarding, but if you apply this to normal OOR transfers it looks a lot like the “Fast Finality” scheme proposed in v1 of Keer et al. just using OP_CHECKSIGFROMSTACK instead of private key recovery. My scheme also gives you key scoping for free which is nice, and actually more useful for normal OOR transactions.
