Okay, the stratumv1 ASIC mining stuff seems to work pretty well, so I’ve pushed an update to an update the repo with the code and some documentation:
There’s AI chat logs on some of the design decisions, but I’ll probably do proper write ups of them here later.
At the moment, both the old CPU-minable faucet addresses and the new ASIC-friendly addresses are getting 3.125 sBTC per block, and will continue to do so for a while yet. Probably the CPU-minable addresses will be retired eventually, but no current plans to do so.
ASIC mining signet coins makes BitAxe hardware more fun, at least for now:
