Instead of dropping hashrate to 0 why not drop it 99%? I think that’s a more realisitic scenario for stranded hashrate. Because if a miner really drops to 0 there’s no point in adjusting the difficulty down, it won’t come back either way. Thinking that thought further the real test would be how fast a 99% reduced hashrate miner comes back to the target share rate for those different algos
