@marathon-gary I didn’t respond to your LN post because it’s off-topic in this thread and I think it deserves a dedicated Delving post.
The TL;DR of that post (which I haven’t written yet) is that Poon-Dryja channels with block producers are fundamentally insecure. I think Spillman channels are a superior choice for pool payouts.
I’ll take some time in the next few days to write up my thinking.
