Hi Delving Bitcoin,

I thought I’d share a paper that I found interesting. It details a protocol for reaching soft-agreement in the mempool prior to block discovery. The purpose seems to be to enable significantly faster block propagation; and better machine utilization. It combines a few pre-existing protocols to produce a protocol somewhat Snowball-like but over entire groups of transactions, rather than individual transactions.
