Bitcoin nodes should be accessible to anyone without the hassle of learning commands or a unix terminal.
Also, why are we conflating gui with the wallet? Being able to see the block height, what kind of peers you are connected to, and node configuration at a glance is an experience that should be promoted as accessibility for money for everyone, and celebrated as the technical achievement that it is. Running Bitcoin is not just for technical users, or am I wrong here?
