Sorry – I just meant that the prototype there doesn’t actually implement any wallet-related features.
I think you could make the gui launch / manage the daemon – ie supply the datadir and bitcoin.conf file that configures the RPC port and access controls – and have it end up being straightforward as far as users are concerned.
