Correct, the use-case would be where wallets are online enough to re-sign/rebroadcast as required, which to me doesn’t appear very incompatible with LN type use-cases but is certainly troublesome for colder wallets.
I’m also unconvinced it’s a compelling option vs having TRUC and “v4”.
