One thing that helped in some way is doing ensemble fuzzing. It means fuzzing with different fuzzers (AFL++, libfuzzer, honggfuzz) at same time and same inputs.
I have not tried yet but I’ve heard that preiodically culling some inputs of the corpus might be helpful. I know some people prefer to not use some projects’ corpora and having their own corpus which could means different inputs but same coverage at all.
