RSK’s txs shouldn’t have been structured that way, and no longer are. But their testing failing to catch the problem before going live, and being able to contact miners directly to bypass the problem was helpful. It’s been helpful in other cases too. OTOH, so long as there’s someone with significant hashpower willing/able to do special cases, doesn’t matter that much if one pool or even the majority of hashpower doesn’t.
