Stats on compact block reconstructions

It’s been a while! I generated some stats again from my debug.logs. Reconstruction rates are far from perfect, but also not horrible. For the most part, we’re requesting tens of kB worth of transactions on average.

Notes:

  • The binary on host luke has sanitizers enabled and is struggling a bit with high CPU usage.
  • The host nico is running Knots (yeah, I known, why isn’t this one called luke…?)

Additionally, here’s an explainer on my workflow to generate them. I don’t suggest you use it. Rather, please vibecode your own. I might refactor/change mine, but since I’m currently only doing this every few months, I don’t mind the e.g. multiple scripts.
